Alpha Hydroxy Peels

The most superficial or "lightest" peels are those using alpha hydroxy acid (AHA). AHA peels can be administered at our Estique Medical Spa. An AHA peel can be applied over a period of weeks or longer to get the best results. Various concentrations of AHA can be used at weekly or longer intervals to get the best results, although sometimes a single treatment with AHA can have enough of an effect to give the skin its best look.

• No anesthesia is needed, and only a mild tingling or stinging sensation is felt when the AHA solution is applied.
• There's no downtime — you can go right back to your normal day.
• A milder-concentration AHA solution can be mixed with a facial wash or cream to be part of your daily skincare regimen.
